There’s just something so awesome about little old Japanese cars.

It’s hard for me to put my finger on exactly why I’m so enthralled with them.

Maybe it’s the culture, the history, the community, or the endless modifications you can do. A car is a blank canvas, ready to morph into a machine that reflects whatever aesthetic the owner chooses. And there’s just something so fun about that.

My current project is a right-hand-drive 1992 Mazda RX-7. It’s a hoot, and I have quite a lot planned for it.

Don’t get me wrong, cars are a pain, and I’ve suffered plenty of bloody knuckles working on them over the years — but for reasons I can’t explain, it’s super worth it.
